About the WPR Utility District:
The WPR Utility District is a Utah special district formed to provide essential infrastructure operations to the Wasatch Peaks Ranch community. This entity is an independent governmental body that operate on a non-profit basis. The WPR Utility District’s primary responsibility is to manage and maintain critical infrastructure across WPR, including utilities, water, sewer, and propane systems.
The WPR Utility District is governed by a Board of Trustees whose members serve in unpaid positions. - Sewer System Operations: Oversee collection, conveyance, and treatment of wastewater in conjunction with the Mountain Green Sewer Improvement District.
- Water and Sewer Infrastructure Maintenance: Inspect, repair, and manage critical infrastructure, including pipelines, valves, pumps, tanks, and lift stations.
- Propane Infrastructure: Maintain a propane distribution network to supply the North Village and WPR amenities, including monitoring, pressure regulation, and safety compliance.
- Contract Management and Regulatory Compliance: Administer contracts and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements for utility and public service operations.
- Administrative Functions: Manage legal, insurance, consulting, accounting and reporting functions necessary to operate as regulated government entities.
