Services

The  WPR Utility District's services  include:

  •  Culinary and Irrigation Water Service: Operate and maintain water systems that collect, treat, store, and distribute culinary and irrigation water to homes and WPR amenities.
  •  Groundwater Rights and Resource Management: Acquire and manage water rights in coordination with the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District.
  •  Sewer System Operations: Oversee collection, conveyance, and treatment of wastewater in conjunction with the Mountain Green Sewer Improvement District.
  • Water and Sewer Infrastructure Maintenance: Inspect, repair, and manage critical infrastructure, including pipelines, valves, pumps, tanks, and lift stations.
  •  Propane Infrastructure: Maintain a propane distribution network to supply the North Village and WPR amenities, including monitoring, pressure regulation, and safety compliance.
  •  Contract Management and Regulatory Compliance: Administer contracts and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements for utility and public service operations.
  • Administrative Functions: Manage legal, insurance, consulting, accounting and reporting functions necessary to operate as regulated government entities.
  • Capital Reserves and Infrastructure Replacement: Plan and fund long-term capital reserves to support the replacement and major repair of essential infrastructure. This includes roads, storm drainage systems, district facilities (e.g., fire station), culinary and irrigation water infrastructure (wells, tanks, transmission and distribution lines), and sewer system components.
